PEW Charitable trusts are stepping up their charitable fundraising efforts and targeting more than 30 cities to help them raise more cash to help fight global pandemics.
Charities across the country are asking their members to help fund their work, according to Pew.
The organizations are also making plans to use their resources to help educate people on how to raise money to fight climate change, and to promote their own causes, Pew said.
The Pew Charities Foundation launched the new fundraising drive to coincide with the release of the 2017 Annual Climate Report.
The report details the impact of climate change on the U.S. economy, the nation’s health, and its ability to handle extreme weather and flooding.
The charity is calling on the public to join them in this mission by donating to the Trusts of America and Giving USA, which are creating a fund for their work.
Charities are also asking for donations from people who are concerned about climate change and how they can help.
